If you are representing a local Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitor's Bureau, Economic Development Corporation, Tourism Organization, a Historic Theatre or Bed and Breakfast, Museum, County Historical Commission or Society, then this area is for you! Here, you will find information on Forts Trail projects, programs, grants and sponsorships, workshops and much more!
The Mission of the Texas Forts Trail is to
increase heritage tourism to the Texas Forts Trail Region by:
making people aware of the region and its attractions;
educating people about the role of forts in the development of Texas;
fostering historic preservation in the region;
helping improve sites to be visited in the region;
and helping develop local/regional heritage tourism leadership
The Forts Trail successfully promotes the region through a variety of activities, including:

a regional website with listings for attractions, communities and a calendar of events,
-
distribution of a regional travel map/guide,
-
participation at travel shows and representation at the State Fair of Texas,
-
special events such as the Forts Muster in the Historic Stockyards of Fort Worth,
-
participation in state-wide organizations such as the Texas Travel Industry Association, and
-
placement of advertisements in statewide publications such as Texas Highways.
The Trooper Partnership Program offers the greatest value -
you select the level of investment with the corresponding level
of services and marketing opportunities.
However, while Trooper Partners receive deeper discounts,
all communities and attractions within the region
are welcome as co-op partners.
